Biography

Nyssa Salas is proud to serve as a litigation paralegal at Janicek Law, where she focuses on Personal Injury cases. She worked at the firm for two years during her undergraduate studies (BA in Political Science, 2018) and returned in January of 2025 to continue pursuing her passion for advocacy and client care.

Nyssa strives to become a Board Certified Paralegal in Personal Injury Trial Law. She is driven to contribute to the firm’s complex litigation matters while also mentoring and supporting other paralegals in the legal community. She is especially passionate about having a real impact in our clients’ lives—ensuring they receive proper medical care, fair compensation and guidance through every step of the litigation process.

When Nyssa is not in the office, she enjoys staying active by participating in hiking, traveling to new destinations, and experiencing live music. Exploring different cultures and staying connected to nature enables her to bring focus, energy and compassion to her work.
